Ron Paul, Senior Consultant for Partners In Leadership

In 2013, Telesystem began implementing Partners In Leadership concepts. Within the first few years, internal surveys showed these efforts increased employee satisfaction scores from 73 percent to 80 percent, and employee engagement scores from 77 percent to 84 percent. Since then, company leadership has delved even further into Partners In Leadership principles as they work to unify operations between two different regions and cultivate future growth and success.

Telesystem has infused accountability into everything from the hiring process to performance reviews. As the company expanded its footprint, new teams have acculturated into the accountability principles as well. Today, all 300+ employees are certified through PIL programs, and new hires typically complete training and certification within their first 6 months.

"Our vision statement asserts that by providing relevant, valued, and compelling communications, information, collaboration, and computing services, we will secure a preferred and leading position in the commercial telecom services and solutions markets," said a spokesperson for Telesystem. "Continued permeation and evangelization of the Oz Principles at all levels in our organization will help that vision become a reality."

Partners In Leadership is proud to award the 2017 Bronze Ozzie to Telesystem for building a culture of accountability that ensures a positive, energizing, and safe environment for all employees.
